When it comes to Halloween face masks, you may be thinking of ghosts and goblins. But when it comes to beautifying (instead of scaring!) with your nieces, try a pumpkin-based Halloween facial mask. The pumpkin is rich in anti-aging antioxidants; the honey hydrates; and the yogurt helps to moisturize and gently exfoliate dull skin—making this the perfect fall treat for your skin (no tricks here) while ensuring it’s safe for even the most sensitive of girls’ skin. Have some left over? Stir in some granola, and enjoy it as a snack too!
Halloween Facial Mask Recipe
1 Tbsp full fat Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp pureed pumpkin (canned works)
1 tsp raw honey
Mix ingredients together in a small bowl before applying a thick layer to your face, avoiding your eye area. Let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Happy Halloween!
